Thank you Google and Life for allowing me to read the article written by Rene Carpenter , Scott Carpenter's wife on his flight into orbit. I am following The Astronaut's Wives series on television and although I lived through that time period, June of 1962...I am much more interested in history now than when i was 14. What a treat to have lived through the Beginning of Space travel, watch a series on Astronaut's Wives on TV over 50 years later and still be able to read an article on my PC from 1962 online.
